No. 78/112/7l….

The Manager,

Staff Department,

H. O. The United Commercial Bank,

Mumbai.

Subject. Gross Misdemeanour on the Part of Shri P.S. Singla.

Dear Sir,

I wish to invite your kind attention to the fact that Shri P. S. Singla who is working as a clerk in our branch, is addicted to drinking. A number of customers told me that he is addicted to drinking on duty. This was brought to the notice of the above employee. He was emphatically told that these evil habits often spoil individual character and also the general repute of the bank. He had promised to behave in future. It is really sad that Shri Singla has not improved and he comes to bank and shows indecent behaviour. The customers often complain against his insolent behaviour, which is indeed a matter of great concern to us all.

I, therefore, request you to permit me to transfer him to some other branch of the bank or take any other suitable action.

Yours faithfully,

R.L. Bhandari

Manager
